We ran the Ultra Durable Pro through its paces to decide if they fit the bill for those looking for a no-frills, daily-driver headset.

Build and comfort
The Ultra Durable Pro headset is constructed almost completely with plastic, with pleather in the earcups and headrest. That being said, it feels sturdy enough with thick molding and a solid feel. The parts that will likely incur the most wear like the cord connections seem to be well reinforced. TWT Audio was confident enough to provide a 2-year warranty which is impressive to say the least on a sub-$50 product. Short of testing the headset for several months, I am confident that it will stand up to daily use, and mild abuse.
The headphones are pretty comfortable overall with plenty of give in the headrest adjustment. Those with larger heads might find it a bit tight, but for average adults, and grade-school age kids, I have no doubt that it will fit well.
If I had to think of a few minor nitpicks, I would appreciate if the inline remote had mic mute control in addition to the volume adjustment. The microphone stem is marketed as adjustable, but it doesn’t seem to have all that much give to it. Overall, no deal-breakers.
Audio and microphone
These headphones are primarily focused on educational and office settings. Think online classrooms, training, conference calls, etc. I will be judging the audio quality though this lens and won’t knock it for having less than audiophile grade music reproduction.
After watching a couple of YouTube videos, I observed the following. Audio volume is nice and loud with no discernable noise, even at max levels. I wouldn’t describe the audio as especially “crisp”, but voices especially were very discernable and pleasant.
The mic quality is what really impressed me with the Ultra Durable Pro. I recorded myself speaking at different volumes, and when I played the recordings back, I was very impressed by how clear and crisp my voice was with no detectable background noise. I will definitely be wearing these headphones on my next Zoom call, and would even consider them for light production work.
Verdict
For less than $40, I was hard-pressed to find anything to criticize with the Ultra Durable Pro headphones. If you’re looking for a daily driver headset for video conferencing, or online classroom use, I can confidently say that these will not disappoint you considering the price point.
You can find the 3.5 mm and USB versions of the Ultra Durable Pros on Amazon for $31.99 and $37.99 respectively.
