The newest set of Magic the gathering is one of the greatest sets I’ve ever played.  The set is built around fun and that intrigues me. With that said the cards I’m about to review are not the most expensive cards in the set. They are not the cards that you will use in legacy. These are the cards that net the most fun out of the block.

hundred-handed one

At #5 we have the Hundred-Handed One. This man holds off an army. When your playing a multi-player game like conspiracy a wall of a man is king.

Summoner's Bond

At #4 we have the Summoner’s Bond. This will help you ensure that you get that “bomb” . You can draft multiple copies of a common or uncommon and link it to your super creature and effectively have multiples in your deck.

Regicide

At #3 we have Regicide. Nothing is quite as swell as playing one black mana at instant speed and blasting your foes. Drafting 2 or even 3 will ensure that you get 4 or 5 of the colors. That makes this a hell of a card.

Emissary's ploy

At #2 we have Emissary’s Ploy. This card will ensure that the remainder of your draft is just super. Think about it, plan for a particular number and draft to your hearts content on any 1, 2 or 3 drops that you want.  I chose to draft the best 2 drops the game had to offer and it was was delightful.

Ghostly Possession

Sweet mother of #1. I can’t even begin to explain how super this card is.  I guess I will give it a shot if you made it this far. If you didn’t make it this far then you should be ashamed of yourself. Any who, Put this on your enemies creature sure; put it on your own for defense sure, drop this on choice #5 and boy howdy are you set for a good time.

Another good option is:

Protector of the Crown

This guy is pretty neat to be possessed by a ghost.

 

With all that said, anything with the council’s dilemma will give you more fun with your game. Enjoy the card and get the best flavor out of it.
