Polaroid was showing off their new printer/camera. I double checked my watch and it turns out it wasn’t 1943 anymore. I also noticed I don’t have a watch on.

Lets get back on track here, i’m sure we can all talk about my hand for hours, but lets face it only 38 people want that.
So Polaroid, they made a new camera for 2016. This camera also prints pictures, ya know, like a Polaroid. Here we have the new and improved “Polaroid snap”
This is actually a bit different than a normal camera. This doesn’t have a standard ink and toner system. ZINK Zero Ink® Printing is done with heat. This heats up the crystals inside of the paper with the same triple color system that most printers themselves use. This allows the pictures to come out quickly and without the possibility of smudging.
So the question comes back; Can Polaroid stay competitive in a digital world? These came out with good quality and acceptable speed. The question at this point is what do I do with this physical picture? If you are in to scrap-booking or the like, then this might be something up your ally. For my colleagues and I this was just more thing to add clutter to the home or office.
