Imagine yourself having a great Saturday night you’re inside sat down with all your favorite snacks and drinks ready for a great weekend night of gaming but when you boot up your pc something terrible has happened, your CPU fan stopped working!!
Fear not! The Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black edition is here!
This affordable and sleek looking CPU fan was the hero of this week when this exact situation happened to me this last weekend, luckily enough for me you can pick up the Hyper 212 at Best Buy locally which is what I ended up doing that very night. Talk about convenient!!
The installation was really simple and straight forward and the instructions were clear and really helpful so much so that the installation took us roughly 15 minutes to get done which made the experience rather easy and enjoyable, the box contained everything you would need to install it yourself including the thermal paste!
Lets talk about some features!
The Hyper 212 Black edition features a sleek looking stacked fin array to ensure the least airflow resistance, which allows cooler air to flow into the heatsink and the nickel plated jet black fins also enhance radiation cooling performance. The top cover is brushed, anodized aluminum that is finished in gunmetal black for a refined look.
It also features their Direct Contact Technology which is 4 heat pipes that provide effective and excellent heat dissipation that will keep your CPU running at optimal temperatures even during your most intense gaming sessions, as well as featuring the exclusive Silent Driver IC technology which reduces noise and power output which makes this fan so silent you’ll think it’s stopped working, it’s amazing at how quiet this thing is!
Best of all it comes with an optional push-pull fan configuration so you can throw another fan on the opposite side to help cool your CPU! How cool is that!
Overall I’d give this CPU Fan a 5/5 for the performance that you get from it and the price point that it’s at it’s outstanding
