Home entertainment has seen plenty of new technology and ways to replicate surround sound over the last few years, but what Fasetto has just done is an entirely new process to get that sound.

Fasetto introduces AUDIO Cu, the first-ever patented sound-over-power-lines home audio solution. The way this works is a host device (AUDIO Cu transmitter (TX) connects to  HDMI eARC/ARC output from a TV and a power outlet. Then you will have the AUDIO Cu receiver (RX) connected to the same power system. Your speakers then plug into the RX system. So the next question is; how is this helpful?

  • Audio Quality: Delivers Hi-Res, Dolby Digital, Dolby TrueHD, and Dolby Atmos audio.
    • AUDIO Cu eliminates limitations created by structural and radio frequency (RF) interference, and it can detect noise on the power lines from any appliances such as vacuum cleaners, air conditioners and washing machines to determine the best way to send the packets of audio to each channel without any packet loss or latency, providing optimal sound performance.
    • Multi-Channel Capability: Supports up to 10 channels, including Dolby Atmos.
  • Plug-and-Play: Dolby-certified, plug-and-play solution avoiding the complications of traditional audio systems (AVR, Wi-Fi, WISA/WISA-e, Bluetooth).
    • Compatible with any wired speaker brands, easy to configure, and manageable through a mobile app.
  • Ideal for many home environments: Provides a true multi-speaker setup without the need for cutting or drilling
    • Large rooms: without so many cords
    • Multi-room: without the need to go through a wall
    • external rooms: garages or sheds

The system will allow a wide range of connections previously not thought possible. The things listed above could just scratch the surface of the connectivity of these devices. I have not seen pricing from Fasetto yet but the new technology is great to have out there. If we are able to get out hands on the Audio Cu system we will post again about the quality and pricing to let you know if we think it is worth the investment.
