Rocky Juarez of the U.S. gets punched in the face in July 2010 by Jorge Linares of Venezuela during their WBA Fedelatin lightweight title fight in Las Vegas. Some researchers believe the human face evolved to take punches — without, of course, the boxing glove

Alright, it has been quite some time since CES 2017 and there is some excellent articles about the major high tech reveals. New TV tech and pretty much every body in Central Hal has gotten their coverage.  I’m here to show you some of the fun things you may not have read about.

First we have something that you may not have a chance to ever see. BluAtomVR is a body suit designed to work alongside your existing VR solutions. BluAtomVR has made a vest, as well as a gun, that work separate or together if you own both.

The vest has vibration pads in it, to simulate being hit or shot. It also contains a chip in the symbol in the upper right of the vest that can be programmed to a persons preferences and settings.

The gun has familiar controls as you can see that should give a quick learning curve for most. The gun has a good weight and felt great in the hands.

The design staff is a group of gamers and gun enthusiasts with a goal to build a comfortable realistic-feeling cordless gun. With sensors around the gun in multiple spots it is designed to make for accurate targeting and movement.

This seemed like a promising system that can be incorporated with multiple gaming apparatus. The company had a kickstarter that did not meet its funding goals in February but the web site it still active with funding options at the bottom. So here is to some further development and high hopes for the future for this company. There is plenty of VR accessories out there but this one peaks my interest about 23% more than the rest.

Good Luck BluAtomVR, we look forward to seeing you again at CES 2018 with some great updates and more funding.

Next up we have Digitsole. This company is making smart footwear. that at some levels looks like the next evolution of smart feet, and then at times looks like they just started having fun with no remorse.

The first ones on our list of shoe technology are similar shoes that are designed to keep track of every nuance of your steps. When your running on all cylinders and when your running on your last limb, these shoes will help keep you comfortable and understand when your feet are not up to the task any longer.

Varying types of shoes offer differences to meet your specific smart needs. Each one communicates to your phone to give you live data on what is happening. Your shoe coach will let you know how well, or not so well you are moving.

Both shoes above have a good market base for the right person, the next few I don’t know how well the public is going to take to these right away. In due time these might be the only types of shoes available to buy.

To the right we have heels for the every day. The heel portion is controlled by your phone and can be raised and lowered with hydraulics. Go from office working professional by day, to working ‘it’ professionally at night without having to change your shoes. This shoe currently is not on the product page for the company at this time but I hope that doesn’t mean it isn’t going to get more development behind it.

Below we have the shoe to do it all.  With most if not all of the capabilities of the shoes listed above; Syncing with your phone, active coaching, step analyzer, heated soles. This one comes packing some additional fun with the auto tightening. The phone application is what controls the exact temperature you want your shoes, the tightening mechanism and so on. Unlike the BlueAtomVR system, this did get successfully funded on kickstarter. With that said, I hope we can start to see a lot more smart shoes and great interaction with our clothing in the coming years.
