32-inch monitors are my favorite size monitors. They work well for any games since they aren’t ultrawide, and they are great for work since you can see everything without having to physically look around. I’ve been using two monitors for so many years, I can’t even remember when I switched and can’t imagine going back. Even with the thin bezels it is difficult to align two monitors side by side and not wobble and look awkward at times. The Samsung Odyssey Neo G9, however, takes a different approach by combining two high-quality 32-inch monitors into a single, massive 57-inch ultrawide display. This is essentially everything I have been using just without the balancing and wobbling of the monitors side-by-side. No bezel at all, just a perfect seamless blend of both monitors next to each other.

Mini-LED vs. OLED
While the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 features Quantum Mini-LED technology, it’s important to note that Mini-LED is not quite on par with OLED. OLED technology is renowned for its perfect black levels, infinite contrast, and vibrant colors. Each pixel in an OLED display can individually light up or turn off, resulting in superior picture quality. On the other hand, Mini-LEDs offer better brightness and are generally more affordable, but with some of their benefits, they still just don’t look at crisp and beautiful as OLED.
Price
The Samsung is $2400 not on sale, but since it has been out for some time it is frequently on a Samsung or site specific sale. With that said it is still double the price of many 32 inch OLED monitors. That means that you are paying the price for 2 monitors and in a sense that is what your getting just Mini-LED and not OLED.
End Results
All things said, I’m still using the Odyssey Neo G9 as my monitor. The seamless blend of my work and play makes this choice still worth while to me. The picture is not the best I’ve ever seen, but it is still very nice. Until something drastic happens in the world of monitors I would recommend this monitor to anybody who likes to have two monitors for leisure and work to be side by side.
